I really liked the accountability each tour guide had of their groups and how the Explora staff immersed us in nature encouraging us to use all of our senses. The connection she had with her staff, customers and the land they work on, it was one of pure passion and dedication. Once we got to Casita before the tour began, Gustavo one of the guides made it very clear: we are about to experience the level of nature contact we needed in order to be our optimal selves. And he didn`t lie!
Next thing you know you are rappelling 120ft thru a hole into the water to then bodyraft down the river using your body as a vessel. When you work on the internal side of tourism with high-end hoteliers for many years - honestly, there are not many things that impresses me.
Explora gave me a different outlook on life. I had no idea what I was missing. I am a big fan now and look forward to our next trip with them”.

“First time body rafting in a river. Luis was a delight as a guide and was so knowledgeable about the surroundings and the history of the area and the landscape. I don't speak much Spanish and my Guide Luis made an effort to repeat everything in English for me. He is a wonderful guide and you can tell that he has fun doing these tours. I will definitely be back and will recommend to all my friends who may be thinking of this type of day trip."

AN ADVENTUROUS AND FUN EXPERIENCE!
“My daughter and I went on the caving, hiking and body rafting excursion down the Tanama River. It was AMAZING! First of all, Marcella was fantastic in helping us get it set up and then Gustavo was our guide. He was so good to us! Our Guide was so good picking us up at the Marriott Stellaris and driving up to the site. The scenery was indescribable. Some of the views were almost prehistoric and hard to do justice in words!”
